Until just now, I didn't even know second life and sims were separate games. I'm proud of that fact.

Really? Can you even still buy a new copy of Quake 3? Cause not being available for purchase would have put a huge dent in any titles liklihood of making that list, no matter how many dozens of people still played it.

Completely unfluid combat. You had to pause the game every time you wanted to change powers to the point you were just like fuck powers ill just shoot this guy to death halo style. You got rewards depending on your level, not how hard the bosses or henchmen were...LOL. The game didnt even look complete it was completely rehashed level modls over and over again with a linear progression with no exploration potential.
It was completely unenjoyable at every level.
EDIT - I'm not defending eq2, but just that proves to me some guy just looked at some magazine and made a random top 10 in order to fill an article spot.

If you had to pause combat to change powers then your an idiot.
The only thing I hated about mass effect was the 20 different areas that made up the citadel.
The Story and dialogue where excellent and the gameplay and graphics where good. Well worth the money.

Pretty weak, imo, Val.
But combine that with the repeated use of "where" instead of "were", and you have a solid case.
Still, not nearly as bad as Faabio's constant barrage of "would of", "should of", "could of", etc...

Sorry my post is not up to snuff. Perhaps you could come over and polish my cock with your lips until its shine is up to your high standards.

Re: top gaming titles
EQ2 was always a niche game within a niche market. Even back at launch in 2004, it rapidly dropped off the sales lists and frankly dont even know if it cracked the top 10.
The game was definitely subpar at the time and the underlying class and combat mechanics continue to drag them down but from my assessment the game had something of an unexpected renaissance secondary to the utter failure that was Vanguard.
VG sent tens of thousands of subs into EQ2 but many of these were fairweather fans at best and began exiting even prior to the ROK debacle (even tho IMO the debacle is bigger than just ROK).
ROK comes out, mass disappointment and soon after raiding many guilds begin folding. Back to the niche group that has been sub'ing off and on since launch.
This is a very very small gaming community within the MMO world and will likely continue that way til the lights go off at SOE.
But to address the OP, yeah I seriously doubt any EQ product will ever have significant sales or market share. It really is a dying franchise.
