Farming for temp buffs reminds me of flasking, wich is dumb. I hate temporary things like that that. If they are "powerful" and can turn the tide of battle, they will be uses and its stupid to think they wont. Either they will trivialize encounters or encounters will be impossible without them. Both lame.

The sad thing is, like you said that there is absolutely no middle ground. Required or pointless content.

As it is you have guilds that rely on consumables to beat try and beat encounters...Hell, FoH can't even beat Cruor without packing symbols of ethereal form.

I'm undecided about the consumables. I think it could offer some reason to keep playing after you get max AAs and all quests done and all the gear you need. Having to farm for some of your buffs might help keep you playing.

Then again I'd much rather you just have to farm alot and gain a permanent ability, with a long recast.
