yes thats really an indication that they are offerring nothing new why dont you go read about a game before you spout off that they have no new concepts and sound like a retard
All the servers have been nearly merged into one. Do you see any major game overhauls in the past to save the game, no.
Mythic can sell ice to eskimo's. EA eskimo's to be exact. They will introduce a product, pass it off to the Corporate overlords. Push it out the door and run. They already tried to pass the game off, EA wanted the delay so the game could get more polish. When do you ever hear of that in this industry.

Still like 2 yrs knowing blizzard. And yes it does look AWESOME but in the end it is not a true mmorph and is going to be designed thru battle.net like the previous one. While i loved the orginal and still play it here and there it wont hold my desire like true online games do.

i really wish theyd all go away from this fantasy concept and make a Scifi based one that rivals EQ1
there were a few attempts like Anarchy Online SWG but they all failed
also make sure SoE isnt involved
so either Blizzard or LucasArts maan up now i hope its LucasArts(based on all the high quality games they created , The Force Unleashed is their latest example of great entertainment)
so jointventure with BioWare pls and make it happen
or a Blizzard/Bioware thingy with Starcraft
Raiding in a Starcraft MMO if that would be necessary could be tailored around the first Race the Xel'Naga

If Blizzard released a Starcraft based MMO I would quit my job and move to Korhal where I would party with Jim Rayor, the ghost of Tassadar and Arcturus Mengsk.

As if its not possible in EQ2. 70 to 80 took 1 or 2 days iirc.

He isn't. Your idea of what an MMO should be is fucked up and retarded anyway, so I'm hoping they never tell you what its going to be.

Re: Vanguard, AoC now War???
Wasnt ultima online praised for its non-level approach to progression ?
You had to use a skill to level it, so essentially everyone could get good at anything, there were no classes. Ive never played it but thats the impression i got of the game.
Maybe this aproach could be used to unstagnate future MMOs ? Theres a tad too many quest/characterlevel/gear based fantasy MMOs out there or being developed, at some point the market will be saturated with them
Also, eve onlines aproach to leveling is interesting too. You set a skill to training, and it trains in the background without any input from the player, even when offline. The problem is that some skills takes too long to train (180 DAYS of training to level certain skills from lvl 4 to 5 for example) and there are too many "timesink" skills (or "trainingsink" if you will), ie skills that serve no purpose but only exists to waste your time for a month so you can start training for the skill you actually wanted
