Normally you can use basic logic to determine situations that are PR spins and when someone is actually speaking some of the truth. Listening to the Devs, and reading the blogs/forums they have a lot of valid reasons for the cuts. It makes sense that the developers themselves would make these decisions not some obligatory higher up brass.

Each decisions to cut and change aspects is a direct response to complaints from the testers, and I was really surprised how Mythic is doing this Beta. Being in EQ2 beta, VG beta, AoC beta, this is the first time Ive ever seen the company hosting the game make wide sweeping changes to their product based on the reviews.

Like I said before, I had forgone all consideration a year ago with War, but after this last week of giving it another chance, Im actually looking forward to its release. Im sure it wont be nirvana, but one can hope for a enjoyable mmo released in this day and age cant I?

Within four years, there is going to be a major revolution in the genre, spearheaded by a game that is easy to pick up and play, gameplay similar to Battlefield 2 or Counter-Strike and real consequences for all actions. It's either going to be a blip on the radar, or it's going to spark the real third generation of MMOGs. And you read it here first.
