Not counting food, drink and container slots, you only have 19 possible items. 53%.

Ah.

T7 is fucked up. Even casual players like me noticed the exceptional gear available very soon after launch. T6 isn't that great either.

Well, weaponsmith sucks. I'm sorry for you. A guy really pissed me off with some ridiculous rant so I looked hard at the class so I could prove him wrong.

No. He was right.

Honestly, I have no idea how to help that class other than combining it with armorer to be a metalsmith.

I miss the raid crafting stuff in T5. Sure, the stats were strange, but the concept wasn't broken.

I wonder if that was me posting on the boards as Ixnay that you are talking about - I raged about weaponsmithing on the SoE boards under that name for almost two years.

Now, I wish I could just respec as another TS class, because weaponsmithing basically is, was, has been, and always will be a joke in EQ2. If it's useless this long after original release still, if they still haven't figured out how to coordinate the left hand of itemization with the right hand of crafted items, they really just need to give up and combine some classes or make them into something else.

A metalsmith would make sense. One type of woodworker would also make sense but I don't think the current class or carpenter are complaining much. I could be wrong.

hehe carpenters make bank off selling repair kits to raiders ^_^

that leaves me thinking as a weaponsmith tho...why does a carpenter know more then a weaponsmith about repairing Weapons...

god the crafting system royaly sucks in EQ2, Even WoWs makes more sense and its just pathetic, everything is no fail.

Honestly crafting appeals to alot of players. I can understand why certain players are upset with crafting because of the 2 heritage quests that require you to tradeskill to complete. Bone clasped girdle and wurmslayer are very good items for those who can use them... and if you refuse to craft, you cannot get these items so I can see the frustration.

However, crafting can be enjoyable... I myself used to craft when you coudl make money by selling your items back to the merchant.... once they changed it I stopped tradeskilling until I realized that I wanted a wurmslayer. Now I'm a lvl 70 alchemist and I think it was worth it.

I love having additional ways to maximize my character, and crafting is just another avenue that I can pursue in order to do just that.
