Re: EQ2, way too easy.
Its funny, I leveled up my coercer so fast, that when it came time to make an alt, I made two, just to slow things down a bit. They level up slowly, because I really only have once a week that I can put some serious time into them (other than that, its no more than an hour of playtime), but it does admittedly get repetitious having to do the same things twice hehe. I used to keep them around the same level, but recently rerolled one of them, so I've been playing that one more often to catch her up.

Re: EQ2, way too easy.
I agree, EQ2 is way too easy. The only argument against that is raiding in EoF.
I'm in a casual guild that raids twice a week. Before EoF we saw all the same content that all the hardcore guilds did, it just took longer. In T5 we saw Kdal but didn't kill him, but we killed Darathar but we raided more back then. Then we realized there was no need. So we went more casual and tried just finishing the content right before the next expansion.
Guess what, we did it. In T6 we killed Godking and tried PoS but didn't beat it. We never tried DMP though. In T7 we killed Tarinax, but tried and didn't kill Chel'drak or Curor.
So besides contesteds what content have the hardcore guilds really seen that we haven't? Plus it took us a lot longer to get up to the point of killing a lot of stuff so there was less mindless farming. The trill of raiding is in the first kill, not the loot.
Well EoF will change that though, zones like EH are built more around hardcore raiding guilds. But still, I think it's sort of pathetic we were able to see everything considering how casual we are. I'll never know whether we could have killed Wuoshi if given enough time either since we're all moving to Vanguard and plan to step up the raiding to be competitive. We'll be stepping it up because there will actually be a point to it.

To Ever, not spending alot of time on his alt amounts to like 4 or 5 hours a day.
=)

Re: EQ2, way too easy.
Everyone please link an eq2players.com level rankings page of the fastest one-to-seventy grind you can find. I'm talking a respectable combat grind, not turning in 100 collection quests or something stupid.
I'll start off with this old plat pharmer, 30 days.

Lol, still .. that isnt too much time for what I was doing on him =\
I afk'd on him way too much though, so killed my /play time .. esp since I can just FD and afk, woohoo!
Either way, he was only level 9 on the first day, then 22 by the second day, and 28 by the 3rd .. then I kinda slowed down tho.

Man that farmer didn't do his job, several days without levels = slack. He shoulda got a level every other day or something since they're always on, I suppose they could have been farming tho.
