lol, I love how everyone asks for guild halls and then when it happens, it gets called "ghey" as someone so intelligently put it and gets bashed beyond belief. Think about it, you are bashing the guild halls and the ONLY thing you know about it is where its physical location is. . . right. They are going to give us a call to our guild halls, they would be stupid if they didn't. And if that isn't the case, there will be so many people complaining about taking a boat there, that they will put a call in shortly after it is live.

They could make it like that game Terranigma where the guild hall is a box in your pocket wherever you go and you shrink to enter it; and it would still be stupid!

The beauty of bitching is that it fixes mistakes in the present and prevents mistakes in the future. This time I'm aiming more for the latter.

I didn't know how they could have implemented it in the first place. I suppose this is better than nothing, or just having another housing instance. I'd assume these are expensive, anyway, so the 93278238723823 3-person-guilds couldn't own one.

I do like the idea of a guild hall, though why didnt they use the empty building already in the game... QH the building the broker hides behind. Perfect spot, central location, same with Freeport choose an empty building or door into a large structure.

I can see where the lore for this new castle/building/fortress might be fun to read, but the TRUE Lore left the game with T6 .... we used to follow a quest line and the storys to go with the quest and why you were doing each task.

Now its pick up quest, kill 10 of these and turn in quest. Mindless crap and T7 and T8 lore sucks... so fuck the lore and make each these new buildings a T8 instance zone and put the guild halls in town where they belong.

Edit...Spelling, ack!

SOE massive fail...again!

Sometimes I pay attention to the lore if I feel like it. The DoF lore is pretty cool, and actually well-written. And while the lore isn't really there, I do like the Hoo'loh quest where he comes in with you. ANYWAY.

I do think there's some buildings that are unused that could make nice guildhalls. Hopefully there will be a bell or a "Call to my Guild's Hall" spell.

Yeah, I called it ghey. Guild Halls (being mentioned by devs, not us) should have been here 3 years ago. And they should be in the city, and by NOW, they should be fully 100% customizable. The fact that people are excited by being offered the SHIT that SOE is offering years late, and of course not the way they should be is ghey. Its sad, and pathetic.
