Are you saying compromising your integrity one way, by revealing confidential information to defned your integrity in another manner is wrong?
How can this be?

Judging one's personal integrity based on something done in a game?
Come on Calthine, you can't be going there...

Re: So who is this Grimwell person?
My question is does any of this really matter? I guess to some people like Radar it does because EQ2 is his job. Its just my hobby. One I plan on quitting when Vanguard comes out and then I'll screenshot lots of Vanguard conversations and become the anti-christ there.
I guess I should be impressed that people think I have the power to control whether or not SOE team members get promoted. I must have transcended just being an infamous player into being something entirely different.
All I can say is my EQ2 career was interesting and talked about. That's a lot more than most can say.
As soon as shit I say on EQ2Flames affects my job, my family or my ability to pleasure myself I'll worry about my integrity in an online world filled with people who have none. Until then I'll continue to do what I do and relish in the fact that people have nothing better to do than talk about me, what I did, what I might have did, what I said, what I might have said, etc.
Being hated and infamous is certainly more entertaining than being unknown.
As for my personal integrity none of you have any idea about it one way or the other. Comparing posting screenshots of the volunteer mod forum to anything at all in real life is ludicrous and makes you look silly. Its a fucking game, period. If anything people with vested interest in the game because of real life reasons should be more careful with what they do and say, because obviously some of us realize this is just a goddamn video game and the consequences of such do not matter at all anywhere other than in this realm.
My personal integrity is a lot more likely to come into question this week when 4,000 dollars worth of computer parts arrive at my doorstep that LFG paid for. However, its not something I'm worried about. Although to a lot of you, I'd bet you think LFG should be. Since you know about me and my personal integrity so well.

Why should one behave differently in different aspects of one's life?

It's a game. I don't work 50 hours a week, raise a newborn, and support my family to go into a game in my spare time and be 100% on, all the time.
Should people look at me different because I might do something in game, that THEY might believe lacks integrity, even if it was a mistake?
My point is, nobody in there right mind should ever judge someones' RL on what they do in a game....

This isn't in game. This is taking place outside of it. There is no virtual world here.
