I basically have everything turned on and enabled, am running above good quality on not even state of the art comps atm, and am having the least number of problems, crashes and lag, on average, that I've ever had in game.

Wierd how this stuff only affects some people.

It looks to be more than just cloaks. I also turned off cloak rendering and it made no difference. All Taucher has to do is be in a different group and i'm 100% fine. He can be standing in front of me attacking for 4 years straight with his cloak on and bolstered, it wont make me crash.

I know this will be quite a bit of data collection, but since it is your guildmates they may be helpful.

Try to find out from those who are also crashing:
What brand/model of Vid card
What version of drivers
What version of DirectX

Who knows, you might find that it is brand X with DirectX 9C or something.

Some other things to think about:
Does it happen when just you and he are grouped, when grouped with others, or only in raids?
Does it happen if you are just grouped, but not fighting,
Does it happen when you are fighting but both using autoattack only, fighting with one using autoattack/one using CAs/Spells, etc...
Does it happen in old world zones, DoF, KoS, EoF?
Could it be realted to people using Soga models?

Etc...

Obviously the "problem" is with him, narrowing the circumstances may help the TSRs isolate what the exact problem is.

I appreciate the concern but if I collected all the data and found out the exact reason why he makes me ld, SoE will not do a dam thing about it.

Absolutely not.

How long have we had horrible lag for? Day flippin 1 of Everquest 2. EoF made things 100x and introduced quite a few and unbelievable bugs. They haven't fixed shit.

Charmed in combat keeps you locked in combat for a few minutes after fight - About 6 months - Year bug


Raid mob delevels - Ever since EoF, like 3 months?

Raid mob charms - Ever since EoF, like 3 months?

Raid mob charm wears off Ever since EoF, like 3 months?

Every raid zone in the friggin game with more than 1 guild in it - Ever since day 1

The list goes on. They haven't fixed shit and nothing convinces me they are even attempting to. Thats just the lag and render issues alone, not mentioning the other stuff.

We will never see a real fix unless the servers are down for 24hrs while they replace the pieces of shit we play on now.

Final note. I played on pvp with 100+ people in zones. No fucking lag. Because they bought new shit for those servers. They even made a post about it. You ever try raiding MO in Bonemire with over 40ppl in the zone on non pvp servers. Its fucking ridiculous. Just another reason why pvp people get special treatment.

Here is the question... When has SOE ever fixed a bug that involved raiding in a timely manner? I cannot think of one time where they had a fix within 2 weeks of the topic being posted about on the boards besides the whole thing where mobs were putting their buffs on players. When it is something that serious, I guess they deem it worthy to fix, but when it is something like a lag issue it gets completely tossed to the back burner and they start to pick up and work on all of the bugs that involve the gay ass fairys.... How long did the full raid xp bug go unfixed? I believe it was anywhere from 6-9 months... EQ2 has the absolute shittiest coding job I have seen in any game...
