Just one request:

Randomize the fuck out of everything!

Contested/Named spawn within 1 to 1,000 hours of dying last. Not in the same spot: Different zone/location. Spread everything around! Stop having everything bunched up. Make the game so damned random that you'd have to 'hunt' for things. Wow, a concept!

But I digress...

This is a Sony product.

well one of the new devs that are working on the new expiation are from WoW so your going to see more WoW type shit.

what I want to see is them redo avatar loot its suppose to last us through next year. when SOH loot is just as good or better its pretty lame.

SoE to actually give two shits about EQ2 again. <not going to happen but we can wish>

1.) A fix to the "everyone is at hard cap of everything" itemisation problem.
2.) Rollback the bullshit reduced returns and soft cap bullshit.
3.) Camps and shit, random spawns, dynamic interactions: stuff that would make this game require more thought than just using EQ2Maps, lootdb and EQ2i.
4.) Less solo content, more group and raid content, perhaps even some x2 raid content, but only if...
5.) Item progression: x4 contested raid loot > x4 instanced raid loot > x2 contested > x2 instanced > rare/hard group loot > regular group loot and grouped quest loot > solo and quest loot.

1.) I'd like to see armor dyes like from EQ1

2.) I'd like to see Luclin used eventually in a new expansion (yes I understand it was destroyed for the most part, but look at it in the sky.. its still in 3 VERY large chunks, more than large enough for people to roam around on - it would just be chaotic and awesome looking up there (maybe have some creatures from deep within the mantle of luclin be the basis for mobs/raid creatures etc.)

3.) I'd like to see Planes of Power zones brought back eventually, And make them ALL CONTESTED raid zones except the weaker ones like plane of storms - oh yes, I said it. Maybe the expansion after this upcoming one (I know plenty of you probably hate me for saying that - I hear a lot of complaining about EQ2 using old EQ1 content instead of original content, but we all know they are tip-toe'ing in that direction, and you all know deep down that it'd be awesome to bring back plane of disease/fire/water/earth/drunder, fortress of zek/etc in some form - the gods keep coming back 1 by 1 anyway, with their return obviously the planes should be returning.)

4.) I'd like to see more raid zones of course, which I'm sure will happen in next expansion.

5.) I'd like to see GOOD MUSIC - The musical score from EQ1, in my humble opinion, was epic. omens of war music, gates of discord, PoP (omg PoP music was the shit) they were all so so so so much better than EQ2 music, all the music in EQ2 sounds the same. Every dungeon/raid/dramatic event is the same instrument line-up with the same kind of feel. Make each zones music more unique and more full of feeling - make it move me like Plane of earth music for example from EQ1, when you zoned into Plane of Earth of Plane or Time, or hell.. Even Bastion of Thunder or Plane of Storms, the music REALLY set the mood well, so dramatic. Gimme more of that.

1. An actual set class ideology. We went from "Wtf were you thinking?" at launch to each subclass is essentially a split part of the class, to some hybridization, to what what we have now post EoF/RoK where we've gotten clearer definitions but a failure to capitalize on it. Were I a new player deciding to be a melee priest, I should be able to expect that my skill set will reflect such from the start without being virtually forced to invest AP(resulting in a gradual transformation that's a gearing up headache) and that gear will clearly support the concept.

2. I'm an EQ1 necro and I see there are clearly enough DPS classes in game. I'd actually like my utility looked over to reflect the versatility of the EQ1 counterpart. I'll take a fail in FD if I can get a near brawler like recast for one. For another, I liked the dark preist aspect of the class in early EQ and want those taps/pacts/reverse taps reexplored; there are already spells on the hotbar like the mark line that would be perfect for any such revamp.

3. Faster revamps or at the very least acknowledgment of zones that suck.

4. Design consistency. Feel like I've played 4 different games since launch with all the radical shifts in philosophy.At the very least find a good philosophy to switch to and not the RoK solo>all type fails.

5. More/better Live events. It was disturbing to read in an interview where Bruce said the current live event set was popular. For one it pales in comparison to the EoF events and 2. It's only popular because of the rewards,the events themselves have sucked.
