Once you download the game and let the patcher update all of your files, save the EQ2 folder somewhere. For example, I have a home server with the enitre EQ2 backed up on it. When I reload my comptuer, I can go from not having anything EQ2 related installed, back to running the game as normal as if nothing ever happened, in less than 15mins.

why does it take 200 years to download the trial? i have a VERY fast pc?

Because the speed of your pc has nothing, or very very little to do with the speed on the download. Your download time has to do with how fast they (soe or whoever) is uploading it to people, and how fast your internet connection is (specifically download).

Ask Intel what happens when you spend millions of research, development, and marketing dollars trying to come up with a CPU that "makes the internet faster". Also Google "How Intel lost the CPU market to AMD for 10 years".
