Yeah might be, i wasn't there for the bit where he changed from mangy (or was it mingy?) but somehow he ended up with falter instead, not sure if that was his choice or not (i know they were messing around with lastnames for mangy/mingy so that might have been it but you should know more about that then me)
Either way it was kind of odd that Crichton got changed but Chrychtonn didn't.

I petition names all the time. Anything that forms a sentence or phrase, or anything that refers to a character from a novel / movie gets petitioned by me. I also petition names that try to squeeze titles into them. Names like 'Diesal Truck' or 'Littlebaggins Of'Theshire' or "Captainawesome" just scream "REPORT ME!"


Call me a dick if you want, but there's nothing more annoying than seeing a million Drizzt, Kermit, Aragorn, Baelzebub and Cthulu variations out there, except a crew of people like "Princessice" or "Lorddemerath Of'Theskycity"

I'm a confessed name Nazi. Although since they now allow the ' in surnames I pretty much ignore names that make sentences.

What's amazing to me are some that never get popped. There are names on Nek that are clear and obvious copyright or trademark violations, and yet no one cares a whit even when you include a link to the copyright (or trademark) owner. And yet Bonaparte got his name changed 'cause they clamed it was a character from popular culture, ha. (I didn't report that one, I think he pissed someone off)

There used to be a thread of a GM giving someone a hard time for having the first name "Sir". The guy tells the GM it's a title. Which dumbass Gm replies you cannot have title as a name and names must be more them 3 characters. Anyway after a bunch more explaining this Gm didn't have a clue you could buy titles.

I made an alt guild named Nofiia Plat Farmer and my last name as Plat'Master only took 1 month for the nurf. Also named my shaman dog Plat'Farmer for pet pulling all the named in any zone was really funny. I guess people don't like em boxing what it takes a group of 6 to kill here all day.
