People who actually spend time /petitioning and /reporting names they don't like for whatever reason are special because they are really going out of their way to be faggots, and dedication like that deserves some credit.

I was nerfed about a year ago on my SK.

His name was Ofoc Offendye.

Not obvious by any means because I had to explain it to many people who just didn't get it. The thing that really pissed me off was that Ofoc was a random named that SOE provided when I created him. Also, it was nerfed by a GM when I petitioned about a plat farmer. The GM showed up, changed my name and then disappeared leaving the plat farmer to continue on his merry fucking way. No /tell, no explanation, nothing.
I made it all the way to level 56 or so before it was nerfed. That was about a year and a half in game before the nerf. They changed it to some god awful thing that I petitioned to have changed to a name of my choosing. They did change it for me to Elbos. I then added the last name to create Elbos N'arseholes. That too was quickly nerfed.
The SK is now retired so no worries but I still think Ofoc Offendye will live forever as one of the best names I've seen in game.

Im not too sore assed (well maby just a lil) but they can still eat a foot of steaming shit as far as Im concerned.

If your contention is that there is NEVER good cause to petition a name, you're an idiot. I do agree that many people are way too sensitive or are just pain tattletales about names. But there are definitely times when reporting a name is justified.

There's always a good cause for a faggot to petition a name.

I'm not a carebear who is easily offended or upset by words in a video game, therefore it would make no sense for me to waste my time reporting people.

Granted, if you're playing a game like this you probably have too much time on your hands, but if you're not only playing this game, but spending time /reporting and /petitioning things that really don't affect you, you're taking the concept of 'free time' to a whole new level.

So yes, sometimes petitioning a name is 'justifiable', but that doesn't make you personally any less of a dickless faggot for being the one to do it.

I got to about lvl 56 on my warlock w/ the name Reepher. Now that's some clever shit IMO, but I suppose not everyone thought the same. Logged in one day and my name was Dany or some random BS....petitoned it, they wouldn't change it back to Reepher, but I did get to pick another name.
