meh i guess i should post on this thread, since i doubt anyone in this game has had to deal with name nazis more than me.... i created my character pretty early on in this game, named him Homegrown, just cuz i guess i would have to say lol, went about my buisness for about a year or so without any issues, until my raiding alliance / raiding guild became well known on my server, then all of the sudden i started having problems, one day im just chillin there, get booted to character select, log back on with the name Golaml... yah fuck that shit, spent a day or two talkin with GMs about this until finally a GM said hey we fucked up, we shouldnt have changed your name, here is Homegrown back. got my name back for a month or two, then all of the sudden, out of the blue, here comes another name switch, now im fuckin BABOON... (yah fuck whatever retarded ass GM thought that would be funny... fuck them in the ear). AGAIN, I speak with some GMs until i am talkin with the head GM, get my name changed back and another *im sorry we fucked up* speach, so im Homegrown... again...
Little bit of time passes, spent some time talkin with the head GM who was actaully talkin to whoever the fuck is in charge of the whole situation at SoE, they came to me asking if i would pick a new name just to try to avoid the whole shitstorm of getting petitioned on a daily basis (FUCK YOU STEALTHMODE), i said fuck that this is my name, its not offensive, i wanna ride this out... Sure enough, a little time passes, few months, (not really sure, im fuckin wasted right about now...) and then low and behold, ANOTHER name change, after i had spoken with the head GM and they guaranteed me my character would be marked that it would NOT have its name changed again since Homegrown by itself is NOT FUCKIN OFFENSIVE unless the last name points towards some sort of illegal drug (people use drugs????) and then im stuck with Oilp... got pretty fed up, played around on pvp servers for a bit and just left it as Oilp for a while because i was told i had ALL the time i wanted in the world to come up with a new name, few months down the road from that i decide time to come up with a new name, spend about a week bitching back and forth with retarded GMS who obviously didnt ever see any remarks from the lead GM saying i had as much time as i wanted to pick a new name, finally get a new name of my choice (had to movelog my twinked templar just to get the name i wanted since basicly everything else in this game is offensive in SoEs eyes) and in the whole process they decide to change the name of basicly every fuckin character on my accounts name (Homeygrown, Homegrower, Nuggetz, Smoked), and even tho every time i got the name Homegrown back on my main character it was by a GM saying hey we fucked up, here is your name back... each and every time it was changed to and from Homegrown (Homegrown > Golaml > Homegrown > Baboon > Homegrown > Oilp > Home) it was counted as a naming voilation, so due to all of this bullshit retarded crap that the gms have drug me through over a few fuckin retards seeing HOMEGROWN as an offensive name, i am officially on my last warning with SoE (any more fuckups and im banned) and i can no longer set a last name, name my pets, a guild, anything

sooo in short, since that was basicly a fuckin novel i just wrote up, FUCK NAMING NAZIS!!!! Homegrown can mean a SHITLOAD of things, and becuase one cockfag wanted to start a fuckin riot against me saying that my name, and i fuckin quote... "was influencing his 6 year old sister to do drugs* i get fucked in the ass....
so if anyone has had it rough with naming issues, i fuckin feel your pain...
and yah, we arent even gonna go into the last names they have taken away from me, fuckin shit im at like 13-14 naming violations so far, and i have yet to do anything really bad...
