I voted no. If EQ2 comes down to paying fees to change your gender, whether ingame cash or not, they need to rethink what theyre doing.

I look at it like this. A doctor would charge to perform a sex change. Why should Smed be different?

And we're talking, basicly, an appearance/name change. Not the corporate sanctioning of transgendering.

Would pay-for name changes be a logical offshoot of this?

Yea but, it's not like this is already implemented with out a cost. If they are going to put it in, might as well charge for it to get some cash out of it.

If it was free, people would abuse the name change system if that was included. Or if not, people would just change way to much and it would get annoying probably.

Maybe someone really just wants the name change but wants to stay on their server? They can change the looks on their char, change the name, and change the gender for a nice fee. Keeps the person on that server and gives them a new start?

Rolling an opposite gender toon is no big deal, but switching after the fact hints at gender dysphoria.

From a RP standpoint.. maybe.

Personally, I don't care what my gender is in a character. Then again, I don't understand people who cyber, people who pretend to be girls, or people who just are into all the creeper shit in game. Whatever.

By the time i relised i was girl... i would have easily paid 50 bucks to change into a man...

didn't you say you were lvl 25, even at release you could have got that back quickly (say 2/3 weeks tops)
