In this latest GU smart loot has been added to VP. This makes the server search the members of your raid for what pieces of set gear they have and then drop loot according to what someone in your raid actually needs.

This is also true for some zones and master drops.

The question is how do you maximize the amount of upgrades gotten by your guild all while not pissing them off.

Making people pay DKP for shit loot they don't want is a bunch of BS. It benefits everyone else for them to have it but not the person getting it. If anything you should charge everyone ELSE in the raid DKP for you taking a piece of crap smart loot because they are the ones that will benifit from you doing so.
