I'm definitely going to be playing VG when it comes out. The game isn't anywhere near ready for release so this will be paid beta #6457468 for me, but I don't want to be behind when/if it gets really good and the game is just plain fun in my opinion with the combat system and everything else. The bugs suck, but the overall game play is great and it's definitely going to be a Noobfree game in the higher levels. After about level 15 you really have to have a smart group of players or you're toast.

As for EQ2 I still plan to raid 7 nights a week. I love raiding in eq2 even if the current stuck-in-combat bugs have made my class virtually unenjoyable to play.

Definately playing VG but won't be quitting EQ2 and will still be raiding 7 nights a week. Just something for me to do in my off time as I find it a very nice change of pace from EQ2.

I dont think many will leave EQ2 for VG in its current state, its got more bugs than a crack house seriously, more ppl will probably go VG in a few months than release I mean as it is right now content over L30 hasnt even been tested and every aspect of the game is still very very buggish, so IMHO wasting any money on it now is basically paying to beta test a broken ass game.

I will say tho it does look like it could be good, however we have seen alot of games like this that eventually flop, making it appealing to WoW and EQ2 players by making it almost IDENTICAL tho will draw players from both sides of the fence. How many tho?

p.s. for being a new game it feels old, kinda generic.
