looks like the 1player/min LD expansion is the balancing to the recent nerfs/changes to mobs and zones. We were close to placing bets if there will be anyone still within the raid before the mob goes down...
But it is actually funny having 5+ people standing around outside and watching ppl go ld....
Yes because you have to be a raider to get the Jarsath Royalty Robes.
You know how many idiot tanks are out there? No, you don't have to be a raider to get 'em, but I have seen some pretty shitty MC groups before which may make it tough to get a hold of them for some-- not even going to talk about RE2.
Newsflash. Without raiders, many casuals would have stopped playing long ago. It's the allure of something more powerful, better out there that keeps people in the game. Or do you think ppl would decorate their house and run heroic instances for 1 year till the next expansion comes out if that's all there is to the game?
Even if there IS content that most people will never see... it doesn't mean that it's wasted, or even inefficiently designed content. Imagine there was a mob so tough that no-one could beat him for a year - only doable with the best skills and the best gear. Do you think that would be bad?
Nope. It would be awesome. Because it keeps people trying and trying to improve & achieve. If you solve all the riddles, see all the scenarios, beat all the bosses, what is there left to do? Repeat the same shitty crap over and over for some rare drops? Fuck that.
I totally agree with you for once, Mafoe you douche bag. But that model you just described seemed to work out pretty well for Blizzard. I heard they are printnig their own money in the basement.
Bottom line is that they are going to give raiders just enough to keep them comnig back.
If you have a full group of lvl 80s (not even needed) and you can't clear Maiden's you just need to /camp and Capitalize the 1st letter in your name, delete your fucking toon waddle to the couch with your hotpockets and watch fucking Dr. Phil or something.............This is not the game for you.
