Expectations are what allow completely garbage movies to gross tens of millions of dollars in one weekend.

IMO, most of EQ2flames gives me the impression that they are too immature to overcome pretentious, figuratively unpleasable attitudes. The issues I think are present, those that have received wholesale attention on a consistent basis, are that of scaled encounter credit (destroy fame/infamy/notoriety/quest credit from encounters attacking those below half of their own encounter size [15 second timer to join or leave an encounter to prevent abuse], evacuation (scouts need their evacuation to be metered in-line with all other evacuations which aren't invulnerable to only fear), immunity (infinite protection needs to be reduced to 45 seconds after an evacuation), blitzkrieging (no reviving at a respawn point until an encounter is disengaged [in-combat priest resurrections retain true functionality]), forced PvP XP (player choice is destroyed, authoritarianism reigns), itemization (resists are improportionate to mitigation or avoidance), tier content longevity (near disintegrated with forced PvP XP), and utility balance (relative to scouts and mages [mages should track, but only invisibility, and scouts only stealth]).

If SOE fixed all of those issues, and maybe dabbled in the area of runspeed or racials (allowing potential swaps through a quest such as "The ways of the XRaceHereX..."), PvP health would be beautified and glorified in manners of enjoyment untold. For all classes but the Necromancer (and maybe the Conjuror? not sure), The Shadow Odyssey looks to provide a moderately decent salve behind these new AA trees. It does seem premature though, to think they will bring critical hits back for PvE mobs, and I believe some sources should be cited if they haven't already been. By the way, what is the supposed "Combat Rating System" Illuminator references?

* And with deep sorrows is it that I uncover such to be a race discluded from the hailings of other corporations such as Webzen and Mythic!

(P.S. And I'm not particularly sure, but moderately decreasing the melee damage come T8+ could be a due modification for balance.)

(P.P.S. Recent lists limited to 10 players need to be increased to be infinite. Such supports illegitimate fame/infamy/notoriety gains that degenerates the value of this aspect of gameplay SOE is just unwilling to relinquish.)

Combat Rating System is a WoW system that essentially scales things on existing items like cast haste and crit rate down as you level up. As Gaige already said in another thread, they're trying to put it in this game.

It's an automatic nerfing system, or like one guy said, an easier way of graying things out so the devs can more rapidly add tiers to conceal their consistent fuckups. You are forced into the gear grind no matter what. Everything WILL be made obsolete OR ELSE.

I don't know about you but this "feature" is my redline, not far off in ethical value from the $700 billion bailout being discussed in the news.
