I wouldn't agree with anyone saying that all epics are a one day deal. Some of them have major solo timesinks in them (like go harvest x# rare roots) to progress. AB(rp) and Nag(pvp) have good sized populations and choice level chat but, both require a certain palate.

When casually returning to EQ2 I sampled a bunch of servers with alts and ended up xfering to Befallen. The pve community is strong and levelchat is fun without rp faggotry. The rest of the advice is spot on.

I've been playing VG for the past couple days (free play time) and its doing ok. I think the main issue at this point is the population but thats livable.

I've only ran into ONE bug, and thats when you're crossing a zone line while on a griffon / wyvern / pegasus you can sometimes get stuck and have to /exit the game.
