Temple of Scale quest The Book that Cursed Ireatan

So the Book that Cursed Ireatan is the 4th quest from the guy at the entrance to the temple of scale, does this quest acctually have a reward or is it just a gigantic waste of fucking time?

Waste of time. Just do the first quest, click the water and get an easy 12 gold or whatever.

One of the quests gives a house item reward of the below linked Everseek page. It is either the 2nd or 3rd quest in the series, but you'll need a group (close to Harla Dar zone in area) to get the update.

Zone out, after they instanced Harla. The zone in is Pantrilla's room.

Ya house item was on the 2nd quest no status reduction though =/. Just wondering if it was worth the effort to try and complete but apparently its not.
