Reach the end of a raid zone, and find a mysterious orb.

The plaque on it tells you how much it costs to buy the flag to be able to progress.

Best thing to do is to boycott this utter nonsense. If they have little sales on station crap in unity with a strongly negative feedback, it's the best odds that SoE will trash that thing.

If i could buy my mythicals from station cash i'd be all over it lol.
Otherwise they can go cap in hand for extra money elsewhere, if i want micro transactions i'll go play my Archlord account fulltime and save some money not buy extra crap on top of a subscription fee thankyou very much SOE!!!

I agree that many asian f2p mmo's are using item shops and with success. But what western p2p mmo's have used this before and with success?

And how often does a western mmo change direction and put in item shops years after launch and with no warning to the players? I can only think of dying mmo's and those most often goes from p2p to f2p at the same time as the itemshop comes in.

Perhaps we should compare eastern mmo's to eastern mmo's and westerns mmo's to western mmo's? Else there is too much comparing apples to seagulls in it.
