When there's no bugs in a project, it rarely takes software an eternity to come to life. But from what I recall reading, these forums were written in-house, and this is dogfood nobody really has taste-tested.

I've heard that the reason they are switching forums up is partially because of the unreliability of lithium. There have been soo many complaints about it with search issues, etc, that took forever to get fixed that when their contract with lithium was up, they decided to take on the forum set up on their own.

So see...the forum software sucked (something I have heard about lithium before) and they decided to do something about it as soon as they could.

So, soon means February, when it was planned in October? This sounds like EQ2 and its bugs. Sure we'll get around to fixing it, 6 months late.

There are so many bugs in this game that have been "looking" into, yet never fixed. Maybe they should stop wasting time/money on an official board and start wasting it on fixing the game.

Ever-befallen how does that show that I was pointing out a specific time. Over the last 2 years there have been dozens of instances when forums were unavailable or the entire eq2players site was unavailable. I pay extra each month for services like chatting with guild and that frequently is not working. But I have never been given any kind of refund.
