If you wanna see some really impressive DPS numbers go to Gazer isle and AE the shit out of 15-20 gazers. However, this does not mean we can manage 2k DPS, it means we are good at AE.

That depends on buffs, group, etc. If I had a little pocket Illusionist to follow me around and TC/Synergism me (in addition to the troub that I always have), 2k's would be flying everywhere. In reality that's not going to happen, but I could parse 2k consistantly with that silliness... so it could happen.

Maybe so, but the suggestion was made that a Fury could consistantly parse 2k. My response was I can make 1200, but almost any class can occasionally make 2k under the right circumstances.

My contention is that a Fury alone cannot parse 2k consistantly...Its just not going to happen...EVER. So the person that said we parse 2k DPS and heal doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about.,........THAT is the point.

Yes, I don't play a fury, yet when i play a fury with adept 3's, and level 32 mc shit/treasured gear and I outparse you. I laugh. with the gear, a fury can parse 2k consistant. 1200 ZW in FTH means 90% of fights i was parsing 1800ish, and treyloth fucked up my zonewide.

The point was you came into a thread bitching about a fury comment on dps that supported a overpowered view on furies, when no bitching is necessary, the fury class your class isn't necessarally overpowered, but it sure as fuck ain't underpowered as your shitty dps would imply!

I would also point out to you , that as the poll indicates the majority do not agree with your assessment on furies. As you can see your fury recieved more votes for overpowered than all other healers combined.

I don't necessarally agree with the view of furies being overpowered, ( i voted necro), but they are not pussies either.

I never once stated that Furies are underpowered. I like my class, and I think with very few exceptions we are very well balanced. As far as claiming you can parse 1800 consistantly as a Fury, I call bullshit. Feel free to post screenshots of parses to show me I don't know what the hell I am talking about. You can say you can do it all you want, but until I see some proof I don't believe it. And post more than 1 encounter, and what other classes are in your group. I can parse 1100-1200 with no DPS buffs in my group, but not on every fight. Its more about timing and luck than anything else.

I say the poll's on this are dead on. A swashy known to be an ae scout doing waaaay over 2k on single target mob's consistanly, uber stance and self buff's on short re-use timer's. Ya they have been overpowered for some time. As for the necro I really cant say as I have never played a squishie, but I know they do hella damage, seen 6-7k on a parse before. Not sure if that was like last 16 second's of the fight or what. But then you have other class's that get a manaburn or lifeburn on a 5 min reuse timer WTF is that? Decap has at best 10 min reuse to do mabey upward's of 30k, mana and life burn can hit 80-90k easy every 5 mins right? Pro's and con's. I hate the assassin's lack luster for soloability. But that's just me.

I'm not going to argue which healers are overpowered, and which are not; but I will bring some things up.

To anyone who says something as assinine as "Templars or Mystics are lucky to break xxx dps".... yeah stfu. All you have to do is change your aa's and you'll be hitting at least 1000 on every fight, utilizing very little power. It's your choice not to take advantage of damage enhancing aa's. A Fury really has no choice, as all other aa's are completely retarded.

So you take a Mystic or Inquisitor, for example, who chooses aa's mainly focusing on DPS. With Mystics, you now have a very power efficient ~1200dps Priest with the most powerful specialty heals and debuffs, and very desired buffs. Inquisitor gives roughly the same result, except reactive < wards, and Inquisitor buffs/debuffs are a tad less desired.

So a Fury who can burn through his entire power bar and get 2200dps is overpowered compared to another priest who spent maybe 40% of his power getting 1200dps while also debuffing the mob's outgoing damage by ~35%?

Do the people saying Furies are overpowered know what their other spells do? I mean.. they only have 5 useful damage spells and Infusion... do you know about the multitudes of completely worthless spells? The buffs with very little benefit (if you don't believe me, go to the mage boards, where plenty admit they'd rather have a Templar buffing them than a Fury), the debuffs that are almost too worthless to cast (because they can infringe on dps lolz).

I don't think Furies are underpowered, I guess, but I'm tired of all the bs that gets tossed around by people who can't even play their own class.

I voted Inquisitor as overpowered to help fuck up somebody's assinine argument, but imho Overpowered: Necromancer, Underpowered: Meh...
