if i get below 1.2k zonewide for something like fth i probably miss timed shit or overall wasnt paying attention 650dps is retardedly low for a fury unless of couse it is a fight that requires so much attention to healing/curing that its better off just to not dps.

oh and that 1.2k is for having to heal in addition to dps...yes you can do both at once.

i havent ran lyceum on widem in a long time but with EoF gear + EoF aa all id have to say is WOW, but then again i wouldnt peg lyceum for what your class consistently does for dps.

Rofl during my 10-day suspension I was playing a fury with legendary gear and adept 3s... I was breaking 1800-2200. Might I add it was my first time ever playing a fury as well.

Ring of Fire on inc -> Thunderbolt or w.e its called -> starnova or we -> tempest -> maddening swarm -> grp proc buff (to proc infusion and melee procs) and recast thunderbolt/starnova when they're up.. by this time tunderbolt should be up then u cast tempest then starnova

If you cant get at least 1k dps with that combo, you sir, are fucked in the head.

How long do your encounters last.....5 minutes? Generally at raids encounters last about 45 seconds. That is enough time for 1 CoS, Rof, maybe 2 Starfires, and 2 Thunderbolts. No way are you going to manage 2k DPS with that combination. The whole point was how are people consistantly managing 2k DPS. If you had actually read the other posts in the thread you would know that. I give a flying rat's ass about one fight, what are you parsing average for a 2-3 hour raid in a zone like Deathtoll?

I'm no longer playing the fury, however I did get a 1200ish zonewide for FTH. That's still way better than the 600 you were claiming. Also, you should START with thunderbolt, wasting in combat time for rof is dumb. It's beauty is that you can have it up before the mob gets to you.

Ok, let me get this straight......You don;t even play a Fury anymore? heh.....ok man, whatever. Also, I am talking 600-650 at the low end. I can usually parse around 900-1100 zonewide in a 2-3 hour raid, but that is if I am there just to DPS. I spend most of my time split between making sure that the MT doesn't get his ass handed to him and nuking the hell out of mobs.

The Original point of this whole thing that apparently got lost is THEIR IS NO WAY A FURY CAN PARSE 2k DPS CONSISTANTLY. Can I make it any clearer than that? I think not.

Please feel free to rebuff me if I am wrong, but be prepared to back it up with screenshots, not this petty posturing bullshit.

Call of Storms is terrible, that's why you'll never get 2k with that combination. I hardly ever cast it. In long zones a fury's zonewide dps goes even higher. On all the trash you clear, you barely/don't have to heal, so wtf do you do? Drop nukes. It's amazing what a little common sense and timing will do to both your parses as a fury.

Yeah, I knew that.....leave CoS out. I only use it on groups of mobs of 10 or more not in the same encounter. The spell has the potential to be good, but the way it is now it has VERY limited usefulness. I am not sure why I even put it in there as I never use it at raids unless I am just screwing around.

aye i prefer zones with plenty of trash in em as a dps inquis.... have to heal generally on named but make up for it on trash hehe
