If you need to register a new name, you'll be prompted to do that the first time you log in. If the system uses your previous login name, as it did mine on my main account, you just log in and don't need to do anything.

On my secondary account, I was able to register as LFG, I think I'll switch to that for posting on the forums. Was nice it let me register a 3 character name, most forums don't allow that.

I like the ability to change your persona from your login name to your character now. The only thing that sucks about that feature is that you lose your post count. I got reset to 0 after posting since release. *sigh*

Post count doesnt mean jack anyway now. They removed all the glory with the post count, and made all the ranks related to your account age.

This is gonna kill the NGD.

The forums suck ass. I personally could care less about the rank, but the fact the avatar doesnt show, the guild info is wrong, and you cant preview your posts is for crap.

I was bummed that switching personas messed up your forum posting history, and I hope that they are able to connect those so the info carries over. But there is so much on the forums that needs attention right now, I doubt post counts are much of a concern.
