so so tired of weapons that suck from these long long long quest lines.
LOVED the first prismatic. You had to run through zones getting click ables that few knew about and raid a few raid zones and beat Darathar and it was over. Hated Peacock where you did pointless quests like go click a pot run somewhere click another pot or the classic get 8 runes and put it in this thing that popped an NPC that gave you a quest......
The worst had to be claymore(getting worse over time??) the only real reason i think any mage in fact did the quest was for Fitzpizzles Misty protector which got nurfed to hell at release of EoF. This series what FULL of pointless quests in retarded zones you had to kill stuff to get around. Countless heroic named camps. (which i mostly got a group to get to the spawn location and they gave up and i soloed the named) Once it took me 2 months to decide that there was one part of that whole series that was worth getting i finally got to the raid part of the quest and finished it within a week. If you are making weapons(end tier weapons) for raiders or highly equipped players make them useful** yes I have decided SoE putting an AoE immunity on a weapon makes it possible to say they are designed for raiders** that they should be insanely good, in fact better then all other weapons of that tier for that class, and shouldn't be hard to get because you have to spend 20 hours in each zone finishing 12 heroic quests. Raid weapon = you get from beating raid content on a raid story line.
Sure throw in some gimp language quest or w/e. But if the new quest line has like 40 quest in Kaladim or 10 quest in Castle Mistmore etc etc and i find out it has some decreases threat position by 1 on horrible proc chance THEN to find out it doesn't even work. I don't see myself ever doing another quest line
They did go back and make things like the Claymore shield better or w/e.
And they did go back and make it where people had a choice wither they wanted a 1 hander , 2 hander, shield or w/e. But its the quest and the accomplishment that is half of enjoying this part of each tiers content. Second part comes from using the item and enjoying the fruits of hard work that cant be replaced by 2hrs a week in some raid zone that drops item that are better then what you spent countless hours trying to achieve.

SoE's learn from mistakes list
-Lets make the quests hard to find and spread about 10-14 out through every zone in the expansion.
-Lets make the raiding part of the series short.
-Lets make 30 or more quests in the series.
-Lets make items they will replace if they are good raiders, they should replace them anyways.
-Lets make the quests heroic so everyone can do it so its considered common and we will give it crappy itemization.
