Yeah fuck this game. It's not even something simple like to speak as a dragon is a pita quest line one of the worst in the entire game.

I never did that quest line for my SK. There is no way I'm ever going to do the Peacock quest line just so I can get that language.

If true, and I don't know if it is, because I don't have first hand info yet, this is another grossly unfair slap in the face to Freeport players. It feels like they are trying to force us out of game.

How can it be possible that a language Freeportians cannot purchase is a requirement to do the EoF main weapon quest? There is no offsetting requirements for good-aligned characters to speak the Dark Elf language, is there?

After all the bitter complaining by Freeportians about the bias and lack of equal benefits in EoF for Freeport players vs. Qeynos players, this is the response? Make it even harder and less fair for Freeport players?

Watch, someone on the official forums will respond, when the complaints start, that we are free to start a Qeynos or Fae toon to do the prismatic quest, therefore we haven't been treated unfairly.

Again, I apologize in advance for this raging outburst if this isn't true, but if it is, my Freeport characters are hereby retired.

It is true:

Sword of Destiny line broken for Evil Characters

Prismatic 2, except for the last two steps, is required for Freeport characters to do Prismatic 4, but is not required of Qeynos characters. Qeynos citizens can purchase this language from a NPC vendor, Freeport citizens cannot.

And this is what I posted on the SoE forums:

Isn't that a bit of an over-reaction? Retire your characters for SOE making another stupid oversight, not because of SOE's apparent vendetta against evil toons. I'd be extremely surprised if this was intended, but still, quite annoying.

I've never paid attention. Does everything in NT speak High Elf? Cause if it does, then this actually fits in line. I'm not saying its right, just that it fits. I wouldn't care, but i think that they should add a subquest that requires like 10 minutes for Evils to get High Elf. Make it level 70, and that's about it.
