The EverQuest II Recruit-A-Friend Program
Can't you just, send it to yourself, pay the monthly sub, get all your shit, cancel the new sub, pay for yours after the free month and not be out any money?
Or am I reading it wrong.

Not only is the idea taken from WoW.. it looks like they went to Blizz's webpage, view source, cut/paste and switched some images.
Whole promo looks to be the same. 3 years too late, but hopefully it'll bring some people in.

I thought you were trying to get the month for free. The rest of the rewards aren't really worth it. You'll get a mount and $10 worth of useless shit. I would rather just buy the 2 booster backs and station cash if I really wanted it. Better than having to wait 2 - 3 months for all that to clear.
Edit: I didn't see that the recruiter can also get a 3x experience modifier. I guess it could be worth it if you do it more than once.

I must agree, this program is the stuff that manipulation is made of.
This would have owned when I was playing and three boxing. The biggest hassle of doing that was running all 3 toons at the same time, especially on Nagafen. By signing up different accounts as "friends", I could run one toon then teleport the other two to it with my new "friend" power.
