I don't agree with the self-mentoring bit...but TLC has outlived it's usefulness. It had it's uses when there was a diverse range of levels of main character when the game first came out, but nowadays, it's mostly twinks and alts at the lower levels anyways.

The only downside, of course, is how much farming this enables for the plat sellers.
