DEFCON 15 will be held August 3-5 at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

It's a great opportunity to hit both conferences. I've never been to Fan Faire, but Defcon is amazing.

C'mon you've never been to a con before... coast con, dragon con, gen con... you don't HAVE to be 21 to drink and party, you just HAVE to be 21 to drink and party legally. Of course if you do drink underage and go down to the casino and make an ass out of yourself, expect to get busted and miss your flight back home, ahhhhh good times.

Yup, most the drinking I've done at conferences has been done in hotel room parties -- (where it's free!)

3/4 of the drinking I saw done at last years FF was in my or someone elses hotel room. You had to be 21 to go to the offsite event last year. For the rest of it? It's up to the rules of the hotel/casinos.

This Fanfaire is very close to my birthday, a birthday I was actually planning to spend in Vegas with Mrs. Pro. I might tweak the dates so I can attend. If LFG makes me Tee with the flames logo on one side and Union Jack on the other, I'm sooo there :P
