yes but it never went further than EQ2Flames -- it has to be something bigger than that -- scandal in his personal life etc. Wrong doing in a game is not going to grab headlines and cut a wide swath -- I mean it didn't stop that slut Kristie from getting a job as a Mechanics Designer.

For it to attract attention about wrongdoing in a game -- it would have to be a lot bigger than currently -- remember EQ2 is not a big game that gets a lot of attention.

Maniac, I was not directing it at anyone in particular. There are many people on here that I feel are too stupid to realize that if we don't get our way all the time we are gonna raise a shit storm about it. then when we become acustomed to it we bitch about something else. Just saying RL escapes mimick RL. EQ2 and the bitching that goes on is just the same as the problems plaguing everything wrong with the world today.

True, but unless it is criminal (i.e. drugs, prostitution or pedaphile charges) I am sure SOE has a personal life scandals won't affect work relationships type clause in their contract.

They did Focus Feedback and it was a complete joke because of who they selected so when you combine all the bullshit noise on both forums and the devs being ignorant of which 20-50 people actually understand the game and mechanics, you get the clusterfuck that we've seen in EQ2 itemization and mechanics.

i see your point and your right sometimes ppl can get overboard but if you look at back the changes they made to the game and argument made against them had a sold foundation.

The problem is that is it bascially impossible for players to judge a significant change in mechanics fairly until the new content designed with those mechanics is released. I remember I didn't like the idea of LU13 at the time but I cannot remember why any more. The content that came after LU13 made the mechanics change a non-issue.

Hopefully that will happen with the tank changes but right now I hope they never see the light of day.
