Then you also compound the fact of the devs being ignorant of who knows what the fuck is actually going on because you have idiots acting like they know what the hell they're talking about when their post is full of disinformation.
They did Focus Feedback and it was a complete joke because of who they selected so when you combine all the bullshit noise on both forums and the devs being ignorant of which 20-50 people actually understand the game and mechanics, you get the clusterfuck that we've seen in EQ2 itemization and mechanics.

Ok, I can understand the problem of having too much static on the forums to isolate the real issues. However, I would say that mechanics devs should have enough knowledge of shit in their own right to be able to filter out the retards.
The Focused Feedback board is a nice idea, but simply having a board called "Focused Feedback" doesn't magically solve the problem of needing to determine who actually knows wtf they're talking about. It only puts all the people you choose in one place once you've decided that that is the set of people who know wtf they're talking about. To their credit, they actually did make some decent choices for the board, but many of the choices are just utter fail and no better than the public boards. They could maybe get it right if they had the balls to kick people from the board who demonstrated themselves to be retards and replace them with different people, but they're far too carebear-ish to do that.
