I think overall it sounds positive. If they really do intend to open up communications that is fantastic, and it is better to take longer working on something and get it right, than to release it all screwed up.

Let's hope this is a turn for the better.

Depends on the era. For a short span the moderation was so tough that essentially speaking critically of SOE got you a ban.
