I mean didn't the current WoW expansion get released about the same time as the current EQ2 one (november 08)? and all raid content in it was cleared like 11 days after release?
EQ2 raiding is far from perfect, but at least there is still a raidzone that hasn't been cleared :p

Still probably best choice is enchanter / bard.
Most raid guild carry 4/bards + 4/5 enchanters on raids, and more often than not, you'll easily find a spot for one of those classes in top guilds assuming you know your shit and you're dedicated to raiding. |

that might be true, but it is still better than fucking wow where it took ppl 3 days to level up ten levels and clear all raid content
a guy I work with plays wow and we discuss our respective games everyday almost over lunch and it seems to me that the last wow exp (twotlk) has really easy raidcontent. in earlier wow expansions it sounded like the raidzones were more hardcore than EQ2's

The answer is, NO.
The raid content is atrocious and not-fun. Difficulty is dependent on raid makeup or critical mitigation drops, rarely execution or strategy. If you're coming back to raid TSO; you're wasting your time. TSO has the worst raid content to date in my estimation.
