Buy two or three. Crack the algorithm for the RNG your self. You now have the template for how they work in that released series. Build the logger to catch the codes. After you get X amount of them you now have the algorithm for that RNG. I'm right there with you on who the hell would put in the effort for a MMO account, but they have been hacking them for over a decade now.

Again, the fob is USELESS for anyone that only uses 1 or 2 computers. It only is a good idea for people that use public terminals for access. A logger only catching one or two codes isn't going to let them into your system. Depending on how complex the algorithm is it may take them as little as 5 to as many as 50 codes before they can crack it. So by spreading your self out over many different PC's you are more secure with the fob. But always using 1 computer (even if it's a public terminal) negates the purpose of the fob.

For home use you are better off spending the $10 or what ever it is on some home PC security.

I use the same UN and Password for everything online. I write it down on my computer and on every scrap of paper I can find. Then I download wearez all day, lose my wallet and scream at customer service reps when my account gets hacked to demand that "THEY" do something to save me from my crippling stupidity.
