Reactivated because WoW is still WoW and Warhammer Online PVE lacks creativity (pvp is still the best of any game on the market, though).

Yep!

WAR for PVP
EQ2 for PVE
WoW for.. well, a balanced/tuned game that does everything decently, but nothing well (the "cater to everyone" syndrome)

So...it's been almost 2 months since my last post. I really enjoyed the experince of leveling my Dirge! EQ2 has it flaws but what game doesn't? One flaw is, I never got my friends off of WoW and it's really disappointing! In the end MMO's are about playing games with friends and if I can't do that here then I'll have to do it their (WoW) I reactivated my account ONLY to be with friends. It got sickning at work being the black sheep and the only one not playing WoW...every convo was about the previous nights raid experince in Naxx or Uld. I want to be part of it. So for now I gotta let EQ2 take a back seat. Maybe I should post this in the other thread haaa!

BTW...this community is amazing! I'm dreading going back to the immature WoW community...this generation of gaming nerds SUCK!

maybe instead of resigning yourself to playing crappier games just because your friends are there, you should put that energy into convincing them to play the better game?

If you read previous posts...

I have promoted the hell out of EQ2 with friends. Got 2 of them to start trials a couple months back it didn't work out in the end...Naxx raiding was much better in their eyes (Gear Grind).

i am like... the only person in norther California that plays EQ2, all my friends play WoW... i dont give a fuck, let them rot the pointless progression with no skill involved. IMO , keep playing EQ2 and get to know you're class better , because surely.. 2 months is not enough time for your Dirge to be doing 4k in groups yet... surely 2 months is not enough time to experience everything besides hardcore raiding... (which might i add, TSO end raid content is challenging and fun as hell encounters) .

so when your little WoW buddies go on about how their Paladin totally cast a bubble and pwnt some 9 yr old and then raided the same content that had no better gear to offer than what you had worked 2 weeks to get... just remember, there is a better game that has real content and never ending search for that "better item" <-- good thing..
