I've played EQ2 for about a year, never played EQ1, played WoW just long enough to figure out it was a kids game.Everyone complains about what SoE does wrong, but not what it does right. EQ2 is *huge*, Ive been playing for a year and there are still places ive never laid eyes on, much less played enough for them to become repetetive..lack of endgame? endgame just got an expansion all its own! The graphics are good, the interface is easy to understand yet capable of alot of customization if you wish, the community is great. If you want to know which game is better, look at the one the most *adults* play. Its easy to knock a game when you're spending Mom and Dad's money, but when its your money, you go for the most bang for the buck, without the stupid potty humor and cartoon world that is WoW...

When I reactivated....hrm, maybe 8-9 months ago now, I knew that my ranger, being level 70 with 32 AA points, wouldn't be cutting it, and would also be tough to catch up in AA points (having run a shitton of quests, and all the HQs)
So I decided to go the same route as EQ and make a buffbot.
Also, I'm a huge faggot, and AoC and WAR were flops imo.

I played EQ1 for 4 years at the high end and EQ2 at the high end for 2 years before taking a long break. During that break I tried some f2f MMO's, all of which suck donkey balls. SoE may not be perfect but Blizzard isn't either.
If I ever had a schedule that would allow me to raid regularly, at a competent level. I would play.
That's pretty much the end of it for me.
