There's XP>AA conversion!?!?

yes. It was with a recent GU. You can set anywhere between 0 and 100% of your xp gained to go to your AA instead of your level. It is like level locking, except now that xp doesn't get wasted. I think it could use some tweaks to heroic xp conversion, but it is nice to have for lower level toons that you don't care about leveling up as quickly as possible.

Anyway, I recently activated my account on EQ2, cos it's still one of the better games that have ample of contents and latitude of gameplay to keep me happy. Was bored with Champs Online in less than an hour...

you're supposed to be happy about it. Without that ability, the game is a solo grind fest doing pointless monotonous quests. Otherwise, you end up getting to 80 with 40 AA. Without the slidebar, it was much more advantageous to solo instead of group, which defies the concept of risk vs reward since soloing is much easier.
