Not sure how fast the new mount is. It's on the faction merchant. I remember it being a carpet mount with the fire graphics.

From memory, the new lava carpet mount requires max Ally with Order of Flames to purchase, costs 6 plat, and has 55% speed. The stats are something like +90 out of combat health and power regen, and +15 spell, heal, and combat art damage.
