This is a serious question to the leaders of the other uber guilds out there:

What do you guys think about taking advantage of this free transfer and moving our guilds to the same, neutral server?

The advantages as I see them is that it restores some small amount of competition to the game. If a few guilds would be willing to do this but others would not, I would say that is a clear indication that those guilds are afraid of the rest. It could potentially put an end to the pointless debates over who is better, etc etc.

The disadvantages I see are that there would be massive lag. Imagine fighting an Avatar if there were 4 or 5 of our guilds there? Also, everything has been killed in this expansion. There is no question of weather or not many of us can kill the mobs, just at what time, if we are in an instance when they spawn, etc.

Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages for this? What do you all think? I know I am completely uninterested in moving off of Nektulos since I have always been here unless there were 3 or 4 guilds going to do this. But I would gladly welcome some guild coming to Nektulos to try and spice things up for us if the general consensus is to not relocate to a neutral server.

Anyways, I am very curious if the other major guilds would be interested in something like this or not. My only fear is that this expansion is already far enough in it wont matter and the next expansion is still far enough off that who knows what will change in the meantime.

EDIT - And before it gets brought up...No, we are not going to move for Friends And Fuckers guild or some other equally useless group of players. Im talking to the bigtime guilds only.

In alphabetical order: CL, Disso, NPU, SD

I think it would be the last opportunity for a clash of the titans; the game feels like it's getting quieter week by week. But on the other hand, I do value my access to content.

I, myself, would pay good money to see CL, Disso, SD, and NPU go at it on the same server. It would be a nuclear war of drama, but probably nothing more than the typical bullshit in terms of seriousness.

I'm sure every pissant runner-up guild is cheering for the top guild to transfer off the server, haha. It would definatly spice up the gameplay, I'm sure, but as Ishbu said - the lag at contested and the fact that it would be reduced to raid times/people on for contested.. Is a big negative.

I would love to do something like this, preferably with SD and Disso. I have always loved competition, and it would actually bring some spice back into the game for me.

But like others have already said, the major downside is the lag. Lag makes this game really shitty and not fun. But I would say the positives outweigh the negatives.

I agree, getting together the three guilds that matter could be pretty fun :p

I would pay for ring side seats for you 3-4 top guilds to be on the same server and go at it where it matters...on the same server.

That would be worth seeing for sure. The best guild would for sure matter more than, would it not...when the top 4 are all at an even place and competing with the ones that matter.

Make it happen, for the love of all that is an MMO!
