I roll on everything that is not "No-trade", since we get AA for loot. (poor design choice IMO)

I almost always say in /gs "If i loot something you need just say so."

And when someone says something, I happily hand it over, unless it's a dual wield for a guardian ;) I might ask, "you sure this is an upgrade?"

Does anyone view this as 'rude'? even 'un kosher'?

Umm, the loot AA is for things like status items and arcane/looted/precious treasures and such. All of the body drops.

That said, I usually roll on anything that is tradeable, if for no reason other than to hurry the group along.

If it's not no-trade, I don't even look....I just click all and keep pulling, send me a tell if you want it.

i'm the same as some of those above, i click 'all' unless i see the no trade message ... i'm usually in guild only groups though so most instance stuff isnt wanted except for selling or transmuting, so i just keep pulling until someone says "Hey Kaj, you got that ____, would you mind if i got it for my char/alt/whatever?"

You only get the AA the first time you loot it. Which means, if you've looted a Karana Tear before and the other guy in your group hasn't, you let him loot it for the AA and so on.
