To Speak as a Dragon is in no way considered a highlight of my eq2 experience and it never will be. In fact, it's just a tedious and ridiculous as finding the 50 totems for the Sword of Destiny. And there were no interim rewards IIRC, just the final prismatic weapon.

I personally felt gathering 26 runes (1 for each letter of the alphabet to translate) in contemporary zones had a lot more substance than the 50 statuettes from SoD.

True, I guess the fact that at the time not everything was grey and obsolete kinda made it more "epic" rather than running around a bunch of noob zones looking at mobs you havent killed in over a year.

Man getting all these totems is gonna blow balls, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna wait a long time till I can be bothered.

Does anyone even know if this is an "epic"/Raid questline I mean they mentioned it as a big questline but their is a good chance it's not even designed for highend raiders.

I seem to remember lyndro in some interview saying that they would be adding in a questline that would lead further into detail of the story behind mayong mistmoore and his involvement in new tunaria.

Using whatever he said (im sure someone can find it) I just went on the assumption this questline would go into thex castle whenever that is released, we would find out how mayong and the queen are dating or having a baby or something(thus all the vampires in new tunaria, plus this was said in some other questline i did, maybe flowing cape of the dark lord?), and then we culminate by kiling mayong in Inner Sanctum.

Thats just my guess based on previous questlines and whatever else. Who knows, maybe this will never amount to more than a lore quest and then I would just be pissed that it was in any way, shape, or form connecting itself with the claymore line.

My guess, is they're making babies, and inorder to "purify" the city, you need to do a quest called "Interview with a Vampire" and then you get a "Blade" and you "Masquerade" around as a vampire.

Not that SoE has ever ripped off any other games and their titles / names before. *Goes to village of shin to talk to Street Fighter* -> *Goes to Nizara to talk to Luke Skywalker*
