Just a little off topic maybe, but I read about server transfers and the broker. When the free transfers come, will we have unlimited transfers for that week (or whatever time period)? If so, there won't be anything from stoping me from jumping to every server looking for my last master spell. That'll be awesome.

I believe last time you could only move each character once. So the trick was, make and alt.. load it with plat.. move it.. buy your master.. make and alt.. move it back.

Unless they limit it to characters created before the start date? I bet there are plat pharmers that would LOOOVE to misuse this to shift plat to higher-demand servers.

I can't imagine any noticable degradation from the coax > router. I think the biggest bottleneck would be the Cat5 @ 100mhz, you could upgrade to Cat6 @ 250mhz but it would be overkill with current broadband speeds.

no problem, I'll start making an alt on as many different servers as possible, now.

Edit: hmm they're gonna still need some plat though...

make a ton of alts the day before the server transfers if they have to be "born" beforehand and check all of the brokers on every server

That way you could SEE which ones you would need to transfer to. Easy.
