PST Failed school Bedtime?

All i want to know is why EST guilds raid from 9 to midnight or later and all the PST guilds start so damn early. I mean, outside of Nightcap and Insomnia, I guess, everyone else is being tucked in by mommy so early. O wait that's why I game that late, I put my elementary school aged kids to bed. Proof?

My guild raids 7:30pm-midnight PST.

I know what you are saying though there are very few late night guilds

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say a mass majority of people have jobs that require them to be at work sometime between 6am to 5pm.

This makes it hard to raid at 3 am when you have to be at work in 3 hours and coming home and going to bed then getting up just to raid from midnight to 3 am is a bit strange to me.

I am a Pacific player myself. I raid with an Eastern guild because it fits with my school schedule; I don't have to stay up late. The only thing that ever gets in the way is how dinner is usually positioned awkwardly in the middle of the raid. >.<

hijack...anyone know of a decent daytime (US time) raid force? Kinda helping lead one on Guk atm, but we have alot of trouble filling it out past our core 10-15 regulars who show up, and trying to do things like VS or even Levi that require people to NOT suck is damned impossible with half the raid being pickups. sometimes we get lucky and do great on our raids, sometimes we get the moron or 6 who keep wiping us from not curing themselves etc etc...

Anyways interested if there is a daytime US raid grp anywhere?

There are called Euro guilds. Most raid between 12pm and 4pm EST - though some start and finish a little later/earlier.

Wouldn't that be more like 2pm to 6pm?

Since the norm seems to be start at 20.00 CET.

almost all the euro guilds I found tend to run 2-6ish CST, which would be too late for me work wise. Just thought I'd see if anyone knew of an earlier one offhand. Thanks though. I'll just keep scanning the recruitment threads. Just always seem to find the nighttime guilds.

when I was raiding my guild was supposed to be a "CST" guild, raiding from 5:30pm to 9:30 or 10:00 cst 6 ays a week.

So pretty much i would come home from work, order chinese or pizza, empty the bladder, get to the raid point, run downtairs real quick to pay the delivery guy, come back and get yelled at for not taking the invite fast enough (because i was getting my dinner from the door) and then rock out for 4 hours

And we weren't a guild that did monthly payouts, the plat just kept piling up in the guild bank or was used to purchase "core" masters that were must haves according to the raid leads (my class didn't have any of these core abilities), so we also had to solo/instance on our own time to pay for repairs and get masters.

I was pimped out with every fabled weapon that ever dropped in KoS tho... so there's that...

Uphill. Both ways.
