It is true...I confirmed it in houses in Freeport and Qeynos, and a guildie noticed the same thing in my house...no lag. 500 items (at the time), tons of lights and junk everywhere used to cause tremendous lag, especially on the second floor. Now everything is smooth.

I didn't really notice much of an improvement in a friends' full cornnut house in Kelethin, but his did't lag much to begin with.

I hope this isn't a bug!

best bug if ever, spent ages building my house, literally building floors and walls etc, and it pissed me off seeing it in a slide show.

have to test it out tonight

might be able to use 2 fireplaces at the same time with out feeling as if im playing the matrix on line

First the raid zones now the houses, whoever is responsible needs a big fat raise. If its a team they all need raises. Hold onto these people SoE for the love of god.

Can we get confirmation that Silverfrost was responsible for this? We are just fans, but we like to know who we should say is awesome and should get a big fat raise and an extra cookie in the lunch line.

It's fixed alright, even with 550 items theres still no lag.

I gotta ask. How could an improvement this HUGE make it into game, with no announcment or anything?

Man, this is the sort of stuff that should be promoted to publicize the game and bring people back.

Also, I'm not sure if it is this simple but -

If they found the way to eliminate housing lag, doesn't that mean they also found the magic solution to eliminating zone lag, since a house is just a little zone?
