How do I know that this in turn wasn't a cheap spinoff of the Amend gear sold even before last year's Fan Faire? Selling branded merchandise isn't anything original.

Why in the hell would you ever want to put that tool's name on a shirt you were wearing? I would sooner wear a shirt that said "I love gay porn" or "I'll swallow if you kiss me first" than anything that would give his over-inflated ego that kind of satisfaction.
