Discuss - do we still need this forum, or should we just use the new class sections?
The issue has been raised on whether this section is still needed, now that we have the class sections.
In looking through the posts in this section, some are general, but most are class specific. If the class specific ones were moved to the class forums, and if all new posts about spells, combat arts, abilities, and achievments (all of which are class specific issues) were just made in the class forum instead, wouldn't we be better off?
Or, should we just leave things as is, and basically let people post whereever they want?
Or, should we turn this into a GENERAL forum for multi-class issues, including issues relating to spells, combat arts, abilities, and achievements for more than one class?
Please discuss, I'll gladly do as the majority prefers.
Thanks

This board is still needed, but the rules should state that any new thread has to be pertinent to more than one class, otherwise it gets moved to the appropriate class forum. And what I would do is move any current class-specific threads that are already in this board. There are a bunch so far, though not as bad as on the official forums.

I agree, there are still some posts here that I would think should be moved... ie... the verdict one to inq boards, etc... but posts like the /useabilityonplayer thread, really has no place in the class forums.... i mean.. since its not affecting only one class.... so, here is a good place for those posts.

Remove IMO.
There's too fine a line between this forum and the class forums it will either become dormant or require constant moving of posts. I see 2-3 posts in this forums history that would end up staying and those posts can easily be moved to General Discussion and/or the archive!

I'm also inclined to just get rid of this forum, move the posts to the most appropriate other forum, and in the future, just use the "general" forum we already have in the top section for general posts regarding multiple classes.
Anyone have a serious problem with that?

Niber, while we are at it, do we have room in the links bar to put the Post Bot and Links directory links? I guess I'm now interested in removing unneeded clutter, and that would be a great start.

Great idea IMO. Like Niber said "this forum will lay dormant," as I think it already has started hibernating.

I don't see any need for it any more. I mean if there is a large issue affecting multiple classes it could be talked about somewhere else.
