Raiders pay the same as everyone else deserve to....? Oh they actually choose to play the game where nonraiders do not. Sounds like a personal choice to me.

I don't get the shiney collections b/c I think they are too hard and expensive b/c I can't do heroic zones b/c I'm doing raid zones. I want the same content as the casuals so give me the same shineys in raid zones.

Personally I think masters should only ever drop in raid zones. Also as was pointed out by many people how are you going to gage content now difficulty with free masters?

I also meant they get what they PAY for. SOE doesn't artificially limit content to anyone, you pay the sub you get access to everything. Its not up to them to play the game for you.

They don't focus on the million things they do get, like free masters, its always the five things they don't currently have. When they get those, and they will, it will be something else.

Without subscribers, EQ2 will go the way of MxO. Let the casuals have whatever they want. It won't have any affect on your gameplay or mine.

Look at every successful MMO.

Matrix failed because it was too casual. No endgame. No core playerbase.

Enabling everyone with a pulse has not, is not and will never be the answer.

MxO failed because it failed to attract today's casual, Wii playing, gamers. It attracted a few prepubescent numbfucks instead. Every MMO needs casual players to pony up their subscription fees, or fund their microtransactions. Or both. These games don't run on warm wishes and happy thoughts. All the subscribers in the world do mean shit, because that's how the bills get paid.

As for core audience, casual players are the EQ2 core audience and always have been. While nearly every EQ2 player wants to raid, and incorporates raids into their gameplay, only a very small, minute even, percentage of the total playerbase is into hardcore raiding.
