To me it sounds like were getting the standard number of raid instances, however more encounters per instance. (via the new difficulty system)
Seeing how even with the standard number and current raid system, things can get pretty messy.. I wouldn't want them taking all those encounters and slushing them into new zones and wasting time/resources doing that.

it doesn't matter if they make 1 mob with 3 difficulty levels or 3 tiered zones with the same mobs in them. the loot still has to be varied on the difficulty of each zone and that really isn't fucking rocket science: you have 1 piece of gear with say 10 double attack mod off the top tier level, as the difficulty scales down then the same piece of gear has a % decrease in stats. how can you fuck that up? then again, i am not on the dev team.

They claimed to be itemizing differently this expansion (top down) in order to prevent poor itemization. I'm not saying that it will fix it, but at least its a change from whatever the hell the old way was, which was clearly broken.

we will see, i must have missed any discussion on how they are planning on arranging loot scaling this coming expansion with the exception of nerfing lower level loot as you level.
even then there is an easy fix, you replace the old choker with a new one that people have to farm for again.

Sure, but he will start using AE's again after 25% (excl. heals).
100% -> 75% -> He starts to heal and stops using his AOE's -> Don't throw beehive -> 50% -> He will start to use his AOE's again and continue to heal until you throw beehive at him.

That completely depends if the item dev has a clue of whats better.
He is not doing set gear again apparantly which would be the only way i see it progressing without being fucked up.

All it proves is that they don't spend time on art. They also don't spend time on making things work thats why half of the content is launched broken. Basically they throw shit together then spend the rest of the year fixing and balancing it while we BETA test for them and pay for it.
